Thomas Morris - Double Gold Award Winners

Thomas Morris emerged as DOUBLE GOLD AWARD WINNERS at yesterdays Estate Agency of the Year awards 2011 – sponsored by The Sunday Times and The Times.
The win comes hot on the heels of last months treble award winning performance at the Home Sale Network conference which culminated in the presentation of the prestigious Cartus Masters Cup.
‘It really is an amazing feeling to win two gold awards’ said Partner, Simon Bradbury. ‘The competition was intense and we were up against some of the best estate agency firms across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.’
The glittering ceremony followed a day of seminars, lectures and discussions about the future of estate agency with speakers flown in from as far away as Australia to share ideas and innovative marketing techniques. ‘We really learnt a lot…’ said Simon, ‘…particularly from Dean Mackie who is CEO and principle of the legendary McGrath Estate Agents in Sydney, Australia. Dean had some great ideas on improving the customer experience and we’ll certainly be putting those into place at Thomas Morris in 2012!’ Another speaker and host for the awards ceremony was well known TV presenter and adventurer Ben Fogle. He shared his stories and experiences and gave a glimpse of how the lessons he has learnt could be used in business and particularly in modern estate agency.
‘Ben Fogle was particularly inspiring…’ continued Simon ‘….and it was a real pleasure and honour to receive both our awards from someone like him in person.’

BEST TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT(UK)
BEST MEDIUM SIZED ESTATE AGENCY (Central Region)
The Judges’ Report for the Training & Development award commented that… ‘The directors showed that their belief in training is key to the development of the whole company’ whilst the same report for the Best Estate Agency award was very complimentary… ‘WOW, was the comment of the judges as to this estate agency’.
