Thomas Morris Sales and Lettings have just reported their highest monthly sales figures for over three years.
"March was an amazing month for us" commented Royston Branch Manager, Steve Thompson. "The whole group had great sales figures despite uncertainties in the market place".
Thomas Morris have seven branches across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and offer a range of property related services including mortgages, conveyancing and surveying. "All of our departments experienced a significant increase in activity" explained Steve, "and it's difficult to be sure as to why, I can only say that buyers in our area do seem quite confident about the future and that confidence is reflected in our figures"
The latest official Land Registry report shows that unlike many other regions across the country, the East experienced a monthly rise with a movement of 1.2%. This was in fact the largest monthly rise of any region. The North East experienced the most significient monthly price fall of -4%.
