St Ives is located on the River Great Ouse and is approximately 15 miles from Cambridge. There is a great market feel to the town all year round, with a carnival and music festival every July. You can discover the fascinating heritage along the waterfront, alleyways and market place, as well as visiting the range of independent shops that run throughout the town.

“St Ives is a great place to live with lots to do. There is a recently opened farm club with farm animals, activities for young children and a great garden café.

Something nice to do on a summers evening is a tailor made sunset tour across the river. You can either attend one of the scheduled boat trips or hire a 12 seater boat with friends.''

St Ives Farmers Market

The St Ives farmers market gives a great sense of community. It is open Monday and Friday in the town centre and provides you with fresh vegetables all year round. Be sure to visit the Christmas market that will be here before we know it!

2 Easy access to Cambridge

St Ives is a town that is fairly close to Cambridge. You can either go via the Guided Busway that takes around 35 minutes, or for those travelling via car, it is the same amount of time via the A14. 

3 River Great Ouse

The River Great Ouse is a fantastic part of the town- whether you enjoy bike rides or strolls on the weekend, it provides great views.

The St Ives electric river boat tours are a great way to see the town. They also offer private cruises for birthdays, hen parties and evening wild life expeditions in the summer.
