St Neots has a total population of approximately 40,000 and is in fact the largest town in Cambridgeshire. It lies on the bank of the River Great Ouse and was named after the Cornish monk Saint Neot. It is located approximately 49 miles north of London and is about 20 minutes away from both Bedford and Cambridge by car.

‘St Neots really is a fantastic market town that draws hundreds of people from around the area to our regular Thursday markets. There is also a French or Farmers market every month.

We’ve also got lots of restaurants opening up in the town – including one of  my favourites ‘Bohemia’ which serves great food at great prices. You really need to try the Tempura Chinese Chicken Strips!’.

1 St Neots Farmers Market

Held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, this popular market offers a wide selection of fruit, vegetables, meats and cheeses as well as locally produced crafts.

2 Get To London Within An Hour

St Neots train station allows direct access to London's Kings Cross. There are regular trains from very early on a weekday, enabling commuters to access the capital in as little as 55 minutes. It’s so easy to work in London, but enjoy a more relaxed life style at home.

3 Great Schools

There are some really great schools in and around St Neots – many of them with 4 star Ofsted ratings and all of them a credit to our community.

Paxton Pits Nature Reserve is less than 3 miles from St Neots and offers 78 hectares of lakes, riverside, meadow and woodland. It really is a great place to visit or simply go for a walk.

St Neots Dragon Boat Festival is held every year and is an all day event

A fantastic fun event held every year on the River Great Ouse – just outside our office!

You can join a team, start your own or simply have a great day out with family and friends watching all the fun.
