'Seller Insight'

We really love living in Great Paxton and the lane in particular, with a ~1000 year old church at the bottom. The village has great community spirit, regularly holding events such as an Easter Egg trail and Scarecrow festival, some culminating at The Bell with stalls from local businesses and our school’s PTA, bringing the whole village together; events we and our children love. Within the village we are lucky to have a really traditional “village pub” in The Bell, a local park, community field, community shop, an amazing and nurturing school, and lovely accessible walks around local fields and countryside. With Great Paxton being close to several market towns (St Neots, St Ives, Huntingdon) and within 25 minutes of Cambridge, we have found it to be a great rural location with convenient access to local amenities and close train links to London.
