We are delighted to help Superman and ‘Man of Steel’, Peter Redwood Smith last week.
From left to right - Area Manager Paul Saunders, Peter Redwood-Smith (Superman!), Branch Manager Alastair Smith and industry trainer Holly Marshall.
Peter, who does his work dressed as ‘Superman’ had recently completed the London Marathon before embarking on another run from Rayleigh in Essex to Stamford – a distance of over 100 miles!
To complete this amazing task, Peter needed somewhere to stay the night in Huntingdon and that’s where we stepped in to help.
Thomas Morris Area Manager Paul Saunders was contacted by estate agency trainer Holly Marshall, a friend of Peter, to see if we could help.
‘We were absolutely delighted to assist’ explained Paul ‘We booked and funded a stay at a local hotel in Huntingdon for Peter and were on hand to greet him’.
Peters running activities are all in aid of the charity ‘Action Against Hunger’ for which he has raised over £2,000. To show your support and donate click here.
‘At Thomas Morris we have a long track record of supporting causes that battle food poverty and this was a great chance to show our solidarity with Peter in a practical manner’ said Huntingdon branch manager Alastair Smith who was also on hand to greet Peter.
We wish Peter luck with his inspiring journey. If you would like to monitor his continuing journey, you can following him on Facebook or Twitter.
Thomas Morris will be holding our own event to support local foodbanks next month when in association with Relocation Agent Network colleagues up and don the country, we will be looking to collect and deliver over 10,000 items of food.
Thomas Morris and Relocation Agent Network will be collecting 10,000 items of food for local people in June.
